When House of Pretzel approached us, their vision was clear: create an exterior display that didn’t just show their name, but truly captured the spirit of their brand. The Main Event: A Sign Tray Bursting With Flavour
We started with a striking commercial signage centrepiece — a bold, vibrant sign tray printed in rich red, featuring the House of Pretzel logo surrounded by delicious imagery of their best-selling pretzels and pastries. The design was printed with precision, ensuring colours popped and details were sharp. This wasn’t just about being seen; it was about creating an appetite appeal that pulled customers towards the entrance.
Windows That Tell the Story
The branding continued with window posters promoting special offers and seasonal treats. We work with House of Pretzel on an ongoing basis, updating these posters to match their ever-changing menu and promotions. This keeps the shop fresh in the eyes of regular passers-by and maximises the visual impact of their shop front signage.
The Giant Pretzel: From Signage to Landmark
While the main sign and posters do the heavy lifting, the true showstopper is a bespoke, oversized pretzel sign that we designed, built, and installed.
Standing 120cm tall and 25cm thick, the pretzel looks so realistic you could almost take a bite. We carved it to mimic the exact texture and twist of a real pretzel, painted it in perfect golden-brown tones, and sealed it for long-lasting durability. The Pretzel is made from HDU foam, so it’s easy and has a metal frame inside, making it sturdy. Inside shop, we fitted two digital display screens showcasing product images and promotions — turning this unique custom signage piece into both a branding statement and a functional marketing tool.
The outdoor pretzel is securely mounted on heavy-duty brackets that we fabricated in-house, ensuring stability against Plymouth’s unpredictable weather. It’s more than just signage — it’s become a recognisable landmark for anyone walking through the area.
Inside the Experience
Once inside, customers see aluminium poster holders showcasing high-quality images of pretzels, drinks, and seasonal specials. Every visual element — from the exterior shop front signage to the in-store displays — was designed to work together, creating a consistent, appetising brand experience.
